Danish
model-turned-photographer Helena Christensen was in Belgium yesterday
to launch her special-edition jute tote bag. Maasmechelen Village and
charity brand (RED) joined forces to raise money for the fight against
HIV/Aids. The exclusive bag is a (RED)-inspired design and features a
photograph taken by Christensen. It will initially be sold – for €10 –
in Maasmechelen Village on December 1, World Aids Day, and will be
available throughout Europe from February. All profits generated by the
sale of the bag will go to Aids charities.
